basically yagami has two fighting styles, which you can change in-game here, by pressing down with the d-pad.
with the crane style, in which you are surrounded by a blue aura, yagami uses a series of techniques with a wide range, he uses kung fu, but to me those kicks are very reminiscent of capoeira
with such a breadth of attack, yagami with a single kick is able to hit multiple opponents at the same time
Unfortunately, however, the opponents often parry here, which can lead to Yagami's combos being broken
and here the tiger style comes into play, the aurea this time is red, yagami with this style, directs very direct blows with his hands (here too he uses kicks a lot) which, moreover, are capable of breaking the guard of the opponents, so as to be able to hit them with subsequent attacks
but being very direct hits, it happens that unlike the crane style, it does not cover the same range, not allowing you to hit multiple opponents at the same time with the same attack
this involves having to use the two fighting styles depending on the situation you are facing: if there are multiple low level opponents the crane, if there is only one strong one (like a boss for example) use the tiger
then there is the middle ground; that is, a weak group of opponents with also a boss, with the crane, take out the weak ones first, then move on to the tiger, to eliminate the powerful one
at that moment, the kicks on them get a rebound effect, temporarily "unbalancing" yagami
they don't always do it, I insist on hitting in these cases, they lose energy and in the end they fall
a really strange thing however, happens when they are stunned, even the attacks bounce, as if they were in rage, maybe it's a glitch
-edit
However, if you want to discuss in an appropriate manner here, it is also better to specify which style of fighting between cranes and tigers you are using.
