Also yeah, he is snarky. I think I prefer that to Kiryu though. Kiryu never really tried to provoke anyone, he just let them do their thing. Yagami provoking people is a fresh feeling that just allows the player to feel like they're getting their own little jab in, rather than taking every single piece of bs from the bad guys without saying anything, like kiryu did.
The same would apply to kaito. A 20+ hour story made up of cinematics is going to be told a lot differently than a 5 hour one.
Why does he never gets punished for this? I know this is a game and all, but if there character was made with a more realistic and belivable setting there should punishment for beating up police officers for example. If you do this in RL you end up in jail or dead no matter who you are or what reasons you have.
Sorry, i meant Kiryu lol
Then in the game, Yagami as a character is a poser. In combat, the tiger-crane style sounds great. Except this guy adds these flourishes to all his base moves that makes everything unsafe. They also kept a lot of Kiryu's animations, and Yagami is no Kiryu. So we have Bruce Lee pretending to be Juggernaut.
In story, he's hoarding too many roles, and the composition doesn't sit well with me, if you get what I'm saying. If he's still playing his lawyer/detective role, then he shouldn't ever consider raising his fists. I'm left confused to why he tries so hard to make all the evidence inadmissible.
There's a backwards feel to everything. Like Kiryu is flexible enough for the developers to let Kamurocho do cool things and Kiryu plays along. Where as Yagami feels like he's forcing Kamurocho to accommodate making Yagami look good. Case in point - I can't imagine his Obatarian sub-story; and making Yagami sing Baka-Mitai would probably cost another million dollars and make put the ost in distribution hell.
probably unnecessary rant on my part, ignore and carry on.
