If you click on the empty (lock) slot of the bow (craft at level 5 blacksmith), it will tell you that you will get it from the main story. Now at which level not sure as I am at Chapter 6 (towards the end of it) and I haven't unlock it yet.

Maybe it will be at the end of the Chapter 6 or at Chapter 7
