I am using x360ce version 2.1.2.191 here is a link in case you do not have it.
https://x360ce.googlecode.com/files/x360ce.App-2.1.2.191.zip
This is what i did.
1. Start x360ce.exe in your directory.
2. Let it search online and pick a defult profile for you controller for now. This way it will create the x360ce.tmp, xinput1_3.dll, and the x360ce.ini file which you will need.
3. Open your x360ce.ini file in notepad and edit it accordingly (read the comments):

4. If you want to play co-op, unplug the controller from the usb port and plug it into a different usb port the second light indicator on the controller should light up
5. start Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet BUT DO NOT TOUCH THE CONTROLLER until you get to the screen that asks you to "press A to join" use keybored and mouse until then
Hopefully you wont spend as much time having to configuring it as i have. Good luck.
