Safest path to get to the Commonlands?
So I just want to get to the Commonlands because I do not like the starting zone I am placed in by default.. Too Elven for me. 2 things make this tough:

1. Going to the zones that lead to the Commonlands has no Maps.

2. Highwind Pass is a Maze where exactly do I get through to Commonlands?

from qeynos area? gotta do the karanas - highhold pass - kithicor forest - commonlands.

I have been using the same maps I used back in the day from our friend Muse at EQ Atlas. I usually keep them up so can alt-tab out to the map when traveling in the older zones. You can also download updated/improved maps for your map folder from another site--forget the name just now--to improve your in-game maps...just checked and it is Mapfiend for in-game updated maps--they are constantly being updated and improved by players...

Or get a Druid to port you there...heh
I have enjoyed going back to Warsilk's Woods where getting ganked by Grachnist the Destroyer brought back lots of memories. Camping the Giant Fort was great XP since it is a Hot Zone. I really want to go back to the Estate of Unrest and, someday, Lower Guk...heh. Nostalga factor is high!
