Better than "Journeyman Boot's" ?

Hello,
I am a old player of EQ1, and i wonder if there is better than the "Journeyman's Boots"[everquest.allakhazam.com] currently on EQ1 ?
I research a "instant clic" buff Increase Movement by xx% items for Mag/Nec/Cler/War class, but i know only this one.

I remember back when the game was new *everyone* wanted J-Boots for their characters. Running was the only mode of land travel, so they were a great time-saver. I recall camping a mob somewhere out on an island (to get there you took a boat and jumped off and swam since there was no direct transportation to the island). Just picking up the game again after about a ten-year or more hiatus, so no idea how anything works now, but I am about to find out...heh

Stories like this are why I loved classic everquest. Kids these days will never understand, but to me this is what made the game great.

I agree completely! I have so many fond memories of original EQ that I could tell *many* stories (probably more than anyone would want to hear--LOL)...The copse runs, braving Lower Guk to get the Fungal Tunic for my monk and the special class sword for my Pally, the way people all went to a certain spot on a certain day to buy and sell items (no Auction Houses then), the "camping" for items like J-Boots (no instances so you had to wait your turn sometimes), the insane mob trains when someone ran out of Unrest with a bazillion monsters in pursuit, the first exciting trip out to explore the wide world after spending the first 20 levels looking at nothing but your own race in and around your starting city, and certainly the good friends I made while playing...

Sadly you wont find that same feeling on these live servers - but project 1999 comes very close

What is Project 1999? Ah, never mind--I googled it. Not sure I want to go through the tinkering to EQ Titanium required, but it does look very interesting. As does EQ Next, whenever that may be released...
