Even in Tutorial, How do I hail/speak to a NPC?

Hi,

I think it is the basic thing in a MMO that not just the sales NPC open their inventory...
I know as first character I made a Vashir... But it should at any click of the mouse be able to trigget a NPC's attention; one that gives quests! not just "He looks quite a gamble!" and "What do you want your tombstone to say?"

At first I tought Tutorial was buggy, then got in the EQ manual trying to look under Quest, or Talk TO NPC, or characters interaction, or dialogs... I tried on the map and even the Quest giver for the 1+ level NPC just asked what to write on my tombstobe?! Even after leveling to level 2 killing snakes and rabbits, same result!

Please help. In the end I'm sure EverQuest was more than levelling up on hare and snakes!

Target something and press the "h" key, to hail.

Also, not all quest givers will be obvious. Especially in the older zones or when doing epic type quests. You will be best to make a hotkey for /h or /hail. Hail all the NPC's you see!
