Thinking of switching to Project Quarm as main game.

Paying 16 dollars a month for a TLP that while popular now may soon dissapate is making me want to just switch to quarm as my main game. have any of yall done the same? or considered it? my sub just expired today and im going back and forth on resubbing

Haven't payed RL money for a sub since my first month of Agnar , This game is pretty much F2P as long as you make sure to invest in a couple krono while playing. I've personally never tried Quarm but I'm sure that could be enjoyable as well.

Is Agnar a F2P server?

No , The Agnar server was the first TLP I played when coming back to the game after playing live until GoD. It came out may 24th 2017 . I've pretty much been playing TLP's on and off since then without paying anything from just making sure to invest some of my plat into krono.

Devote time to farming plat and / or items to sell for plat then trade the plat for kronos.

Build up a stock of kronos so you can maintain your sub for free and liquidate fo rplat at good times to use barter to buy decent value items and tradeskill stuff early on new TLP to feed the krono farm machine.


Basically, play the actual game less and "pay" for your sub in farm / merchant time instead of money. You do need to be in on TLP to begin with and have an idea what you're doing to be able to start the process though. You'd have to either farm hard on live servers as free to play to get kronos there to sub and start TLP or pay for sub for awhile to get into the grind on TLP..

Do it. I switched and havent looked back. New EQ is a different game that completely overrides all the features that made original fun. Too much hand holding. Defiant gear kinda ruins collecting gear from previous expansions too. The expansions also come out after longer intervals.

Better than Quarm is Heros Journey...It has in this exact moment 2k players. Solo/Duo/Multi class server no box allowed. Finally a server where you can create your perfect character you can mix any class and not depend on no lifers to get anything achieved or get any good loot.. You can play alone when ever you want and do whatever you like
