Getting GINA to work on arch based linux

does anyone happen to know how to get GINA to install using proton or wine? when I run it with either one, it just opens an internet explorer browser in wine, so any help would be great. I've tried multiple virtual machine apps to use a VM of windows, but so far the only one that will do everything well, so eq runs well is vmware, but my kernel does not posess the necessary modules for vmware lol
