Control issues

Movement controls are not working correctly. WASD should be movement keys but they do not respond and after rebinding keys they still refuse to work, only pressing the A key for a few seconds got Sherlock walking sideways and will not stop... EVER. What is going on now?

Can you send game.log for this issue to Frogwares support?

simmilar problem.... this is going to ruin the game for me :S

Also it only started doing it after the latest patch

To find game.log please follow the steps:
1. Open any Windows Explorer window (Computer overview for example).
2. Paste into address bar %appdata%\frogwares and press Enter.
3. In the opened window find folder named with game title (The Testament of Sherlock Holmes), open it and open log folder. The game.log file must be there.

I fixed my issue by enabling vsynch in the Nvidia control panel (dont know if it works for Radeon cards, if you have such)

I had the unfortunate "pleasure" of encountering this too. Turns out that if you have a g-sync monitor, you need to turn it off completely, then enable v-sync through nvidia control panel. Only then it finally works. What a fantastically programmed game.

Just got this game in 2021 and same issue. Problem seems to be with high refresh rates. I had to disable g-sync, force my 120hz monitor to 60hz and then force vsync on.
