How do I get the controller working for this?

im playing with my 360 pad and it works fine. It doesn't detect it when you first launch the game though, you'll have to start a new game to trigger it.

Hi, the thing is that the controller is not working at the first launch on the game menu, once you enable it, it works ok everywhere, including the main menu and the game can be played in BigPicture mode. We need to make a patch to make it working on the first launch in game menu, we'll do it soon, and after the game will be Full controller supported.

abred, go to c:\users\yourusername\appdata\roaming\frogwares\the testament of sherlock holmes\

there you will see a file called setup.ini

open that file and scroll down to the "input_type" line and change it to GAMEPAD.

make it look like so:

;Mouse or gamepad
;Possible values is:
; NONE
; GAMEPAD
; *MOUSE
input_type = GAMEPAD

save the file by closing it and choosing save. Now fire up the game and it will be gamepad controlled.

(if you don't see the AppData folder, you'll have to set up Windows Explorer to show "hidden files and folders - do a quick Google search to see how)
