Appp Crash after saving Game

So far the game runs fine,but every second manual save = App Crash and back to desktop

any Hints ?

Drat. Hoped a few of the things to try would help, but nope. Crashes during AutoSave when Watson goes to White Chapel to look for Holmes. Will give the 4gb patch a try.

I found the patched worked until I went to the judges office. it even crashes when doing a manual save. no problems with windows 7

This should be stickied. I had to replay 9-10 sections after crashes during autosave. Every crash set me back 1-2 hours. I got near the end of the game and couldn't progress past a certain point until I applied the 4gb patch.

I'm guessing the devs don't really care about this game anymore, but I would think it should be possible to patch this in to the game itself. It is still being sold.

I definitely still enjoyed this game after having finished it, but it's the most difficult time I've ever had getting through a game on Steam.

Maybe this will help someone - I also had problem with crash during autosave (especially in Whitechapel area). Patch and other options didn't help. But after I switched all graphics quality options to low and turned off other graphics points in settings - game stopped crashing.
