WHY DOES MY SAVE GAME NOT TRANSFER BETWEEN COMPUTERS?

Steam says that my cloud save is up to date but when I play on another machine all of my saves are blank. please help!

Mac and PC cannot sync automatically. You might need to manually move the files.
