Stupid resolution issue...again
This always happens. I download a new game. Try to play it, and have to fix the resolution in order to see it. This time, I have no config file.... sorry, it's not in the Kalypso directory. I tried to change my screens resolution. I tried all of them. I need a way to see the game to fix the damn resolution. Or, can I just delete the intro movie? where is it? Maybe I can force it that way... Just need to edit something to actually see the game. Steam commands, and actual windowed properties set in shortcut I created don't work either. Come on guys!!!!!

Can you not hit "Alt-enter" to make it windowed?

It runs great in 2560x1440. 2x EVGA 560ti cards in SLI.

yeah, no mouse cursor here, and keyboard only allows me to scroll the menu

@positivewun I unplugged my usb xbox 360 controller and tried loading the game, and when I got to the menu screen, I had a cursor. Hopefully this will work for you. :)

I reviseted this issue, just a moment ago, and tried to use your advice. Behold...it worked! I had to wait until I heard sound, just before it would CTD, and I spammed the hell out of ALT-Enter. I was able to get a working screen long enough to change the resolution. My screen goes up to 1680x1050, or whatever, and the game defaults to 1920x1080. WTF?! No wonder why it would CTD.... because it was out of range. Thanks for your help.

The other methods usually work, in this case, it was a rare situation. Most likely the config files didn't get created until after the intro movie, which I couldn't get past, which is why I couldn't force a change. "Set Launch Options" under game properties also didn't work. So ALT-Enter is the only way I could get in.

how do you get the STEAM version to run in 2560x1440? When I play it on my computer, they tell me that the max res is 1900 x 1080. Unable to select higher rez

i know the thread is a few days old, but it would interest me too. Max resolution i can select is 1920x1200. It looks a bit coarse on a UHD-Monitor.

Manually edit the "options.cfg" doesn't work.
