Co-Op Gameplay?
As the title says, all I want is to play with my friend in a co-opish mutliplayer experience.
I want to build 2 different player cities, trade between ours and then maybe possibly declare war and end the game. Does PR3 offer us this chance or is it just your everyday build resources then slay everyone on sight gameplay?

Yes you can, you will play in the same map, as 2 different merchant. If your friend takes overs a town and you also do, you can set trade routes beetween your cities and if you have complimentary trade goods, this trade would provite needed good for your town to gowth in prosperity.

Yes you can but beware, the multiplayer part Lan or Internet game is depending on a server wich seems to be allways down, dunno why but i guess its a old c64 somewhere in a shelter who manage multiplayer ...

3 of 4 times the server for mp was not responding. 1 time the support helped but the second time is now over a month ago and no more answer from the support. And today i tryed just to test . -- its still down. its a shame for such a nice game

We can't even get LAN to work. Bought the 4 pack for naught. Keeps having us search for names rather than a join IP option.

SUCKS! Did you lodge a complaint? Is it working now? This kind of game is right up my alley and I wanted at least two copies for our house, when are game developers/publishers going to learn their lessons about this stuff..... a young poor child pirate has none of these problems, really.... as an adult with a modest entertainment budget I'm happy to pay, but since the freebies of youth are morally out for me, it means I just have to do without this game....... I guess I could both buy it and seek out a version where some 12 year old german kid make stupid server reqs disappear, but that is dangerous in terms of malware...

Really I'm sick of all these frustrations, you've got Games For Windows Live!(which STILL keeps me from buying certain games) Starforce, live master server DRM requirements, etc, etc all these frustrations the paying customer has to suffer that the freebie underground never even sees! When will devs/pubs learn their lesson? They're NOT control freaks, they're alienators. They're not in control of anything.... more flies with honey, yadda yadda :csgogun::csgohelmet::displash:

Somebody message me if a miracle happen and this game is verified to be working and supported at present and the foreseeable future, before this goes off sale... thanks.

I submitted a ticket to Kalypso support, no response yet. LAN still won't work, but we were able to get online working until just now. I think the server is just up/down a lot and if you try to start your game during the down it fails.

Razor games mentioned they have a crack to fix LAN, but I haven't tested because I paid for the game damn it I shouldn't have to hack it to play.

My online works just fine, you have to type the exact name of the person you are trying to connect with in the search bar, though. i cant seem to search for a random lobby, however. which if i had more people to actually play the game with, it would be much more fun.
