Worried Woman Quest Help

A Worried Woman in the Tavern in Port Royale told me that she had to toss her valuables overboard during a Pirate Attack and asked me to recover them. I got the object and went back to Port Royale but the woman is nowhere to be found. When I go into the Tavern, I see 2 Informants and a Card Player. I'm not interested in any of them. Does this mean the woman has no room to spawn in? There looks like only enough room for 3 tabs on top of the tavern.

Any ideas?

Are you sure she asked you to return to Port Royale and not some another port? Iirc, at least some of the delivery ports were different from the ports you get the quest from.

My Log Book said to bring it back to her in Port Royale. My Convoy that is carrying the casket of valuables is IN Port Royale and with it selected, I go to the Tavern and all I see are 2 Informants and a Card Player. I bagan to wonder if the woman might have a house in town but I'm pretty sure she is supposed to be at the Tavern.

you just return with the valuables to the town she asked for your help.
She isn't anywhere, not the tavern or elsewhere, unlike port royale I.

when you collect your item - lost son, husband or valuables you will see the boat you had the item in and the town you have to go to.
just take the said boat back to - in your case - port royale.

did you have two boats named the same - you can do that, or you may have had 2 items you picked up similtaneously such as another drowning lost sailor or what ever.

If you had the correct boat and made it to the destination by the given date then you should have got your treasure map piece - if this didn't happen then you picked up the wrong item or had the wrong boat missed the date or went back to the wrong town.

I have the right item ( I've only taken one task and I completed it) I have the both with the item in the correct town. My Log shows a green checkmark. If I have a piece of a map, I dont know where to find it and I dont recall seeing any update that told me I got one. I dont have two convoys named the same thing. I have the Santa Maria which is the starter Convoy and I've build two more (Yes, 'Nina' and 'Pinta' as you might have guessed.) Nina is the one that picked up the object and returned it to Port Royale. It is possible that the quest completed and I just didn't see it happen. I'll go look for a map piece hiding somewhere.

My game is on Nov 9 and my Quest has until Nov 17. It has a Green Checkmark as if it is completed but I dont see anywhere to look at a Map Piece. I've checked all 3 books. (F1,F2,F3) and I dont see maps anywhere. The only other quest i've done was a guy offered to... make some local fruits dissappear from the docks so that I might make a better profit on the ones I was carrying. I did that and his quest too has a green checkmark. If the quest is done and I hve the Map Piece that i'm supposed to be rewarded with, where do I find it?

OK, found it. Problem solved. I guess I was just expecting to see a Pop-up with the woman thanking me for getting her stuff back etc. Anyhow, thanks for the assist.

@quinion, you would have received a notification as soon as your ship got into port but as you were focused on finding the tavern etc., you may not have realised what it actually was. The Worried Woman quest rolls around about once a month, look for the pop-up next time. On the fifth map piece, the icon of the treasure chest appears and you can find the treasure without having to get further map pieces. Once the treasure is found, begin assembling another map with those Worried Woman quests.
