How can I get my money back?
I am really disappointed with this game and was wondering if there is any way I could get a refund?

You need to contact Steam support about a refund. Asking here will get you nothing.

I tried getting my money back. Nothing. Very disappointed in Steam right now. I will still buy games, but no longer preodrder anything from them again. This game should be removed from sale. They know it, but just will not do it.

I asked for a refund when I bought it when it first came out. No go then. I think you're in the same boat as me, which is totally out of luck.

I also asked for a refund immediately after the game was released, which was denied. A few weeks ago I tried again and explicitly said that this was a unique situation, since the developers stopped their support and the game still hasn´t got the advertised features. It´s been granted :)

Just be nice, explain in detail why this is a very special situation and maybe you´ll get lucky like me

I applied for a refund too, along the same lines as DDark above me. I eventually got it after the third attempt of being insistent but staying correct.

I'm glad I didn't buy Carrier Command on a whim which I would have if I Legends of Pegasus didn't happen to me :) The second the major AI pathfinding problems and some other bugs are fixed (and the patch pushed to the steam version) I will buy it using the money sitting in my Steam wallet since I got it refunded for LoP. Until then I will use the free 'demo' ;)

Dear _______________,

We're deeply sorry for the inconvenience.
Since the developers have filed bankcruptcy, we can't give out information regardings any future updates for Legends of Pegasus.
Could you please tell us if you've purchased Legends of Pegasus through Steam? If that's the case, please provide us with your Steam username as well as a proof of purchase. We'll investigate if there's an option to refund your game.

Best regards,

Ok I just submitted a Support Ticket requesting a refund directly from Steam Support.

Lets see how promptly the matter is dealt with.

Needless to say this is an unnecessary process and my confidence in Stean and any advertised game any place on their stores has significantly lessened.

They should pull such crappy games off of their store!

They gave €44.99 to my Steam wallet referncing their no refund policy and how this was a 1 off gesture. While I do appreciate the credit and will use it with much caution (anywhere on Steam) - whats to say that it wont happen again where they put a title on the front of the store for sale - and its crap!

You guys crack me up ... you don't buy games without reading player reviews first .. screenshots and videos are PR items made to get you to buy the game. If you buy a video game from WalMart you can't open it, install it and play it then take it back for your money back unless the physical disk is defective. You shouldn't be mad at Steam, you should be mad at Novacore and Kalypso for pushing this game while knowing how bad their financial situation was.

Some games are available for purchase even in beta in which case rating are not applicable or impartial - since its beta.

Also the Walmart analogy is no comparison. Valve as a reputable & long standing publisher + developer, that they are, should be held to account especially for games that are not their own and which they are endorsing on their store's front / page.

While I can appreciate their efforts with Greenlight - I'd much prefer a game rated by community and pushed to the front - than 1 thats not QA or overlooked cause of monitory or other incentives. Else the potential then arises for any dev / publisher to monopolise the top as some current, supposed: "AAA" tittles are.

I am a costumer for more than 10 years.I play few games but my son play a lot of them.I always buy the games for him and he is very offset for the performance of this game and 3 others.

They should make sure to provide assistance or refund to their customers.
this game was a major endeavor when it was released before it should have (the anthem [bioware] of it's time without the system destroying bugs.) if early access existed when it released it probably could have made it to being a good game. kylsipso entertainment closed down the studio/developer went bankrupt that made the game shortly after the game released before they could even fix it. The publisher still tried to sell it on their store for a good amount of time. if you purchased the game from a key seller site, traded for it, or bought it from kylipso directly you will have to deal with them. it was removed from the steam store Oct 19, 2012 (8+ years ago). it would have been purchased on steam between Sept 4, 2012 - Oct 18 2012(8+ years ago)
