Any update on release

Have they put out any idea what year this will be coming out or should I give up on it? I've been so excited for it but losing hope of it ever being released :(

The devs are active on Discord, where they give regularly small updates on the development. They still don't want to/can't tell when the game will be release tho

Could also consider preparing a demo for next time NEXT comes around, seem to be a reoccuring thing on steam now. Think early access is only really a good option if you're doing it later in development or have a sizeable development team enough to push things forward, a big IP or something. Think most the time if you play early access in earlier development stage you paid for the game, then you play have some fun with it then 1-2 years or more before game release you tend to forget about the game, especially if you're not having yourself following news or updates.

At least that is my personal experience, like have quite a few early access game that looked promising and enjoy playing for what content they had, but really few that I actually paid much attention to after longer periods between updates or patches. Imagine its that way for many if I were to guess, think with a demo if its fun it gives something to look forward to even if you know its going to be a while before it releases.

Please no Early Access :-( It feels like all games are only released in Early Access and I would finally like to play a game that is finished. Early Access may have some advantages for the developers, but for those who are not passionate test players, Early Access is torture.

Better take your time and finish developing the game. I'd love to play Bloody Hell Hotel yesterday rather than today, but I'd rather wait and play a full version at release without having Early Access in the back of my mind.

No on EA from me. EAs rarely go to full release despite devs intentions to the contrary. You said you would work on it until it was bloody awesome. Changes can always happen with later updates if something is truly an issue down the road. Everyone is eager for a bloody awesome time from bloody awesome devs. Deliver a finished product and be the legends we all know you already are. Stay strong!

Think also like I said earlier in some cases it probably doesn't developer either less they do it when they have a sizeable amount of content. Because then people try what content is there and then forget about it if development takes another 2-4 years maybe before the finished product comes out, think some managed like Baldur's gate 3 to keep interest. But less you have a big IP or doing something that is exceptionally interesting or different from other games, I think most the hype build or consumer interest drop after a while. Even for games that actually seem to have some decent promise.

I'm honestly still VERY EXCITED to play this game! I remember seeing this on Tiktok, probably a couple years ago by this point. After reading this months later, and seeing everyone's opinions on Early Access or Full Release, I think Full Release is the best option for both sides. I can totally see the game never finishing, as I've now realized has happen to me with other games, should it be released is EA. I LOVE being able to full play a game and send that initial excited energy into getting through so much of it. Let it cook! Let this baby simmer until done <3 I really can't wait though! I'm sure I'll forget about this and check in when Its done somehow right around release day :)
