Steam Deck verified misleading?

Does not work on Steam Deck despite claiming to be steam verified. All I get is background music and no video footage. Basicially unplayable.

yesterday i had to re-install Halo Infinite twice free up a bunch of space before it started working again

I have plenty of space. This game does not work. Already requesting refund. Not an issue with SSD space and even have plenty of space on micro-sd too.

I know it's not the solution you expect as a Verified game should work on the go, but did you install Proton-GE already and tried it with this game ? This little piece of software is a life saver that extends and improve you Deck's compatibility A LOT.

Yeh I did and already aware of the usual workarounds because I do this often with other games. Sadly this game was unplayable. Not sure why this is classed as Steam Verified. At the moment this feels like it should be classed as 'unsupported' until the game get's fixed.

Anyway got my refund. May try the game again at some point when I feel comfortable that the game actually works.
