Your hardware is almost exactly the same as mine. I plan on trying and just refunding it I can't run it. I think it'll probably be fine though. Low at like 30-40 fps is fine with me.

Yeah i am torn between borrowing a console from a friend for awhile or to try to run it on pc.

I mean how bad can it be with my hardware on low.... cant be that bad ?

it could literally brick your PC.
If your hardware cant handle the load, then you are stressing it to the max, it will overheat and destroy all your components.
Go ahead and try, but just dont be surprised if everything shuts down, you smell burning, and it doesnt turn back on.

The real question should be, 'How Stacked Is Yo Bank?'

For what it's worth, I found this:

https://pc-builds.com/compare/cpu/0KR/0Yf/?game=2M&resolution=1920x1080

General gist is that our 7700s will run it about 25% worse than standard. It obviously doesn't tell the whole story, but that low of a difference seems acceptable to me. I grew up on the OG DD.

I literally threw that same PC away 3 years ago.

Mind letting me know how it goes?

After playing a bit and getting to the first town, I can say it's not too bad, if you grew up with the original DD. On relatively high settings, in the woods and fighting against monsters, I get around 40-60 frames per second. In town, my fps drops to about 25-40 fps. I locked my fps to 30, which frees up the CPU to work on different things, and that seems to have helped. But yeah, the game is very much dependent on CPU, and mine is a bit old. Definitely a good reminder to upgrade from something that's not from 2016.

Mind letting me know how it goes?

it runs 50-70 in the open world and mostly smooth
but in the main city it is a bit laggy it drops to 30-40 with 90% cpu usage

i'm playing at 2k and everything maxed out

it is playable tho going around the city a bit annoying
