A warrior pawn is a good choice for your selected choices in vocations for your arisen.
Personally imma make an Archer first, and once the new vocations open up, I plan on being the spear fighter one, because it's the most appealing to me.
Of course my Main Pawn is either going to be a Sorcerer, or Mage, mainly for rift point farming, because just like the first game, I imagine they're going to one of the strongest type of Pawns people will want in their parties, just for the one shotting, and healing alone.
pawn fighter-warrior
That said, you can change vocations in game, so just try both and play the one you like more.
Assuming things work as they did in the last game, you can't have active skills from one vocation on another (a fighter doesn't have a bow, what would they do with archer skills?) but there are some passive abilities you can use on any vocation once you buy them.
I still have no idea what vocation I will main as I kinda want to try out llusionist (moves like a dancer a class most games really need to add a class of) and mystic spearhand (looks like darth maul) more than any other class, but I tend to play ranged so typically swapped between strider and magic archer all the time in every playthrough. Been playing on and off for 12 years and have not once tried assassin.
I heard they are great but since I mainly used bow/magic bow and daggers I never saw the point of trying it out. I almost unlocked it before I logged off last night as I had just maxed mage but went with ranger instead. So far on this playthrough I went fighter to max for some extra hp, strider for about 10 extra levels past the point I maxed it for more stamina then sorcerer back to strider for a few then mage for the passives needed for MA. got warrior to 9 off and on during all that. Now I am on ranger then will probably go to assassin.....for the first time in twelve years.....and MK at some point (never really liked it, probably because the shield is mainly on your back and looks dumb to me).
