If your internet is slow and you want to take advantage of pre-load, might be a reason (if you know you're going to want to play day 1).
True but right now i cannot even run the character creator. I've d/led and installed it, but my library doesn't show it active nor can i uninstall it since it's not showing in any of the lists.
Update: Got the creator to finally run. Steam is acting wonky because it still doesn't show it being installed. I had to run it via the .exe in the game folder. BUT both my main and pawn have been created (yipee). Now to checkout the preorder bonuses.
It's would help look at past and whatever enjoy game in the past by same company but it's not always help, like skyrim, people enjoy skyrim, but same company create starfield, people might think it's worth it to pre order, but that might not always case. It's hard to whatever pre order or not when one do not had power to see into future whatever game is good or bad, whatever it's worthy or not.
I must remind that steam policy might not like refund too much in past like 6 month or something like that, but this is no issues if people are rarely pre order new game and refund if need to be and rarely refund at same time.
In saying that it's really just up to you and personal preference. I Pre-order when I have the extra cash on hand to make it easy for myself so I can budget beforehand, but more importantly for the ability to preload it as soon as it becomes available.
Most games these days provide some form of preload system and being able to do that whenever it becomes available is a big help for people like me who don't have the best Internet speeds.
The Internet speeds in Australia can be pretty horrendous at the best of times and with this one releasing on the same day as Horizon Forbidden West it's going to take me a couple days to fully download both of them but like I said it's really each to their own, you should just go with whatever works best for you.
I still so wait until day one and I have purchased DD:DA for the 360, ps4 and pc and based on the leaked footage unless the game is a bug filled mess on PC I will buy it day one. I mainly refuse to preorder any more because 1. no physical copies so no need 2. to wait to see how the game launches and 3. this preorder incentive stuff is beyond out of hand (get a really bad skin or a weapon and/or armor that is only better than the one you start with and can not be upgraded so even the starter weapon can be better or you can play three days early so our investors see our launch was amazing).
I am not disagreeing with you just agreeing in a very long complainy way.
