Just means you have 4 more days to download extra RAM to ensure high framerates!

Can't people still return the game during early access no matter how many hours they play? I have seen comments on other games of people buying a game and beating it during early access so they can return it before release date. So it seems like a bad idea to do that from a corporate standpoint outside making investors happy for preorder sales.

Doesn't matter if a game is 'Early Access' or not. Steam policy is 2 hours of play or 1 week of ownership.

MAtters greatly, actually. When a game does early access on steam, let's say 4 days. That means for 4 days, you have full access to it. However, it is still set as a pre-order and preorders can be refunded at anytime. So, that means that once they got done with the game (Not disliked it.) they could refund it. People did it on hogwarts legacy and starfield. Played it, beat it, refunded it, complained it was too short, blah blah. It's effectively stealing imo, but steam allows it.

It does matter , pre-ordered games still have a 100% refund policy no matter what until release day, then the usual 14 days and 2 hours played.

early access would have started in four days.

It wont go on early access, They stopped the practice cause tons were refunding the deluxe edition 2 hours before global release. It still counted as "Pre-order" so hours didn't count and it auto accepted the refund.
