Doesn't matter if a game is 'Early Access' or not. Steam policy is 2 hours of play or 1 week of ownership.
MAtters greatly, actually. When a game does early access on steam, let's say 4 days. That means for 4 days, you have full access to it. However, it is still set as a pre-order and preorders can be refunded at anytime. So, that means that once they got done with the game (Not disliked it.) they could refund it. People did it on hogwarts legacy and starfield. Played it, beat it, refunded it, complained it was too short, blah blah. It's effectively stealing imo, but steam allows it.
