Can you marry your main pawn?

You get the ring of assurance to choose your beloved by gifting it, and stuff for the end of the game...
Probably almost everyone including me will be romancing the NPC characters, but just a curious question, and how it would work out.
Since some pawns eventually gain proper human sentience and emotions, and become humans in the previous game through the passing on of spirit or something.

Ring of Assurance is a support item for players who've become too sensitive and ignorant for reality, so that ring makes sure not only their feelings don't get hurt, but they don't get offended. It also adds a 15% chance for your pawn to pet your Arisen at night, but makes sure you feel strong and independent, and you rely on no pawn for the remaining 85% of your playthrough. It assures you, you've paid 10 bucks extra so you feel better, and less threathened by the people on this forum as well. More so buyers regret, before playing the game.
