I mean, is there a 'campfire' system like in RDR2 where camping kit upgrades give temporary bonuses etc.?
If so, can I use that "Explorer's Camping Kit" more than once?

Having items that no one knows the function of as incentives to pre-order or pay for a deluxe edition is extremely poor marketing.

That being said, even the extra stuff they give you at the start of DD:Dark Arisen isn't overly game changing, other than the 300k value monocle.

Which makes me think the bonus they give is negligible. Think about it. If they were truly amazing items they would be pushing what they do to get more pre sales.

I don't think so, I can't recall where I heard of saw it but iirc camps are not only cosmetic but do different things such as lessen the chance of being attacked while camping etc. Please take this with a grain of salt since I can't recall where I read or saw the information.

The more I think about it, I heard that information from a youtube video.

However, when I tried to verify information about camp kits I can't find any information that suggest more than cosmetic features.

the deluxe camping kit is the highest tier of camping kit, but it's still a consumable item you can get in game. So you use it up, gone like any other same one you buy/get in-game. Really bad value for money deluxe.
