Your perfect team setup?
I bet many of you friends have already played Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen and you are aware of how the system of pawns works in this franchise.

..so, what you are planning to do with your main pawn? and what kind of pawn you are going to look for?

for example I found Strider in DD:DA to be most enjoyable vocation to play for me, so I am gonna go with Thief and my main pawn will support me as an Archer - an anti-air/long range dps.
Supporting Fighter and Mage are gonna be the pawns for which I am gonna look for.

Trickster + Thief + Mage + Sorcerer

I'm going to main Trickster and be the Support/Tank.

I'll probably have either three DPS and use Curatives if I get hurt or if the healing is really good in this game (doesn't just heal the white portion of the bar) I'll bring one mage and two DPS.

I think I'll try something different than mage and his upgrade.
I maxed other vocations only for passives.
This time I want to test new vocations, like Trickster and Mystic Spearhand.
So my team would look like:
My pawn - pure Fighter
Hired pawn #1 - Mage
Hired pawn #2 - Sorcerer

Im thinking Trickster + Fighter or Warrior + Mage + Whatever my best friend picks for his pawn. I think that covers all the bases for the most part. I just really want to play Trickster.

I want an actual tank to take aggro when I'm not messing with it and a Mage for weapon buffs/heals. Meanwhile the strategic stuff i'll handle as Trickster.

I'm gonna have my main pawn as warrior, and I'm gonna be either magick archer or mystic spearhand. For my hired pawns I'm thinking either mage and archer or sorcerer and archer. Maybe the former? I don't necessarily need those enchantments myself since I'll have magic damage by default. Although buffing the damage of my main pawn with fire damage or something would be nice.... Decisions decisions....

Archer is always gonna be there though, because if there's metal golems in the game or enemies that work in a similar way, you need some physical ranged attacks to deal with those floating talismans.

The early game setup I have in mind: Thief Arisen + Fighter Main Pawn + archer and mage hired pawns... I'll probably switch to something more magic oriented mid-late game

After watching the leak and how terrible that guy was, I'm sticking with my double mage start. I'll pick up a fighter and archer early game.

My thinking is that most of the weakness maybe the same so I can give my pawn Palladium and I pick up fire boon for early game. Then when I can afford other boons my pawn and I can have two each until I can advance vocation.

End game most likely Warfarer or some magic related vocation. I'll figure out the pawns I need then.

PC - Mage/Sorcerer to start, main pawn will be archer, one pawn either thief or fighter, and the other pawn will be warrior.

I need to get my hands on the game and see how some of the vocations have changed to really know what my ideal lineup will be. I'm really hoping we can depend on more then just a Mage for healing.
I mean starting out? The four basic classes cover everything. I usually will switch around pawns depending on what I'm playing as since I like to collect Augments. Usually I like to keep it as two ranged/two melee, so one Fighter will usually be there, along with a Mage (Now that Sorcerer can't heal). If I decided to play as a Magick Archer I could consider swapping the mage for a sorcerer.

But I forsee I'll mostly be making sure a good Mage and Fighter are in the party, and adjust depending on what I'm playing at the time.

team setup? wtf you think I'm? a freaking casual? solo all the way. I won't wear armor. I won't upgrade anything. I won't level up. you are not a true gamer unless you have become one with your seat, while sweating your way all through ng+69

fake gamers everywhere and this is a honeypot trap
