yes there will be MTX in this game, as said by the PEGI release date leak having in game purchases.
but that doesn't mean the only way to get RC is from purchasing them.

First game sold micro transactions as well for a while and they removed it afterwards and integrated the items into an NPC shop. Helldivers has those too right?

The biggest questionmark for me is whether the character re-customize is limited to the super simp edition or if it's earnable ingame later. God forbid the peasant edition of the $70 game only lets you change your hair at the barber or s/t.

You can rent friends pawns for literally nothing, so doing that would be one of the most dumb things to spend money on since you can just ask anyone with a high level pawn to carry you, if that's how you think pawns even work (that's now how it is going to work, based on experiences doing the same in DDDA).

If it's like in DD1, there is nothing to worry or even care about.
I didn't even realize the Deluxe came with some, that's how much I just didn't care about it due to how it was in DD1.
I always made pawns that weren't a meme and actually useful and basicly was swimming in the stuff due to it.

But... who knows nowadays.

It already has them. All the deluxe and preorder items have this under them:
"Note: The above bonuses may also be available later."

By that wording it means they are not in the game as something you can find. I hope I am wrong but just look at how many MTXs are in the Monster Hunter games and then the shortcuts that you can buy in the Resident Evil games.

If it does have them it won't be until after the reviews are in so they can skip that in any reviews and the fans will fall over themselves to defend it as if Capcom cares about them at all.

The guy has a point though, selling power(higher level pawns) with bought currency(rift crystals) is P2W by definition.
But also as others have said, this is a single-player game, if you want you can install Cheat Engine and put your RC to the max, or set the RC price of all hired pawns to 0. Only highly stupid whales would buy RC directly.

If it's like DD1 I'll just (re)hire the pawns of my friends for chump change anway, so we all just passively generate RC constantly for eachother.
