I would not consider dlss 3.5 a mod. I am updating it to latest version that is all.
They got the Nvidia signature stamp so i don't see the issue with improving the upscaler with the update.
What kind of problems are you suggesting that can happen?
Pawn corruptions? Got many games with Denuvo and it never complained.
But is the pawn id not just a long line of numbers and nothing else? I guess ill check that Reddit thing and see if it is an issue before i update DLSS to 3.5
No DLSS for the first game. That would be alteration of game files for sure but i see DLSS as a seperate entity and i dont consider it a game file.
Capcom files and Nvidia files that is all i see. I am not going to mess around with the Capcom files.
DLSS is the name of the feature set and 2, 2.x, 3, 3.x, 3.5, etc. are simply the version numbers. The chart is stating what features are included with each version number and what cards can do each feature. RTX 20 and 30 cards are still getting the latest DLSS updates to Super Resolution and DLAA.
Here is a video about this: (Timestamp) https://youtu.be/v9EXsBaO06Y?t=389
Yes you should be able to use DLSS (Super Resolution) with your 2070 in Dragon's Dogma 2. At least the graphic from Nvidia suggest this and the information I gathered from youtuber suggest that also.
I even asked a friend of mine now to test it (he has a 2080 Super) in Jurassic Park 2 which has DLSS 3 and he can enable DLSS with Super Resolution there.

I'm almost sure you can use the dlssg-to-fsr3 mod to enable Frame Generation, since it supports both DLSS 3.5 AND FSR 3.
No longer any need for that mod since FSR 3.1 offers Frame Generation along with DLSS for nvidia owners "soon"

Hope they release it as fast as possible.
Who knows why they disabled it.
