Live action footage instead of in-game cooking animations/rendering?
For a game that boasts not having conventional fast travel so you can fully inmerse in the world that capcom handcrafted for us, having live action footage of beef being cooked instead of in-game cooking animations sounds like immersion breaking to me.

I'm confused. Are we talking about something used for promotional video / trailer, or something that is actually in the game? Like when you play and you cook food, it cuts to real life video?

From what i've seen, you interact with the fire to cook and it cuts to real footage.

It's funny to me so i don't mind but i definitely understand why someone would find it odd.

Lol yea that is kinda funny, but I agree, that's an odd choice

The real problem with all this real food footage will be that it'll make all of us feel hungry all the time. I can't just hop off the coach and get a delicious steak damnit

Don't gamers like to eat pizza all the while gaming?

You think it's going to be the same with sex scenes?

It breaks the immersion by being too realistic?

Steam discussion, entertaining as always.
It breaks the immersion by looking out of place, like a random 3D model in the middle of a 2D animated sequence.

What you goin on about, we've had gameplay out already for over a month.

If anything, it'll probably make me hungry enough to go cook an actual steak.

I take it you assume my pawn will be an adorable little sheep/lamb. :azuki2:
