why is this game so god dayum blurry? [FIXED]
and how do i fix it?

And as for DLAA, you can try this as an alternative:
1. Enable DLSDR in your Nvidia driver settings. To do this, go to 3D settings in your Nvidia Control Panel, then under the "Global Settings" menu next to where it says "DSR - Factors" click the drop-down menu and select 2.25x under "DL scaling" (you can select 1.78x too if you like)
2. Set the in-game resolution to 4K (3840x2160)
3. Enable DLSS, and set the preset to quality

This way, you're getting 1440p upscaled to 4K than back down to 1440p, which in theory should look better than 1440p DLAA. This might be a tad GPU heavy so I highly recommend dropping the shadow setting from max to high (minor visual hit for big performance gain). Maybe try disabling ray tracing too to see if that helps with the performance as well.

Are you using an upscaler? Try turning up the sharpness. Sorry I'm playing at Native 1440p, so I'm not sure what else could be the issue. Additionally you could elaborate on your monitor specs and target resolution.

it isn't. point of fact is many people like to complain about how sharp the picture is without AA and dlss smearing applied all over the place.

Reshade can help you with that. There's plenty of them on Nexus Mod, you can always check and see if one of them suits your needs.

If you are using DLSS/Framegen thats why.

But with that CPU I wonder if you can even play the game natively.

DLSS + ULTRA PERFORMANCE makes everything blurry so it runs faster that may be what you did

i have dlss on quality and frame gen off, my monitor has 165hz and is 1440p

The CPU is very powerfull, i dont have any problems, i can play with cyberpunk with rt on psycho setings on a stable 130fps.

I have any upscaler and frame gen turned off, i even turned low latency boost off. Its still extremely blurry. Look at the shimmer on the arms and face. How do i turn this god awful motion blur off? It ruins everything, no wonder the upscalers cant do their job propperly.

BTW this is the same engine as Monster Hunter Wilds and i played the beta, MHW is far far from blurry.

Checked several times on a 4k screen and:

DLSS Quality is internal 1080p

DLSS Performance is internal 1440p


I think they should fix this nonsense!


So if you use DLSS Quality, then you use in fact DLSS Performance which can produce a blurry picture

dlss makes the game very blurry no matter what. turn it off and tweak the other settings for good framerate. game will look much better that way.

If you have motion blur turned on in the options, then you're playing like that already, OP just started taking screenshots while moving the camera around.

I play with motion blurr off, but turned it on to see if I can replicate what OP did, quickly rotating the camera was enough.

There are my settings you can see I have it on but I don’t play with DLSS! So this is maybe the reason why I don’t have it?
Edit: Good but to get this result I need to move the camera in a way which I never would. I don't get the problem if I play normally this game. In this case then just disable it would be the solution for Anakin yes?
