You tried to use a resource to which you did not have the required access privileges. This error is most typically caused when you write to a shared resource with read-only access.

The software is calling a function that it cannot access.

<edit addition>Does your PC Hardware support DX12? Do you have admin access to allow changes?
<edit addition2>Just thought a possible problem, given the fact there is little information from post... Are you trying to write shaders to a drive you only have read access to?

A lot of DXGI errors these days. I can't find the one which was bugging me the last months but it was probably temperature related for me. I cleaned my case and put new thermal on the cpu since then the problem was gone. I also switched to a IPS panel with proper GSYNC support which might also be helpful (probably going to low on hz crashing the driver idk the previous monitor was working with gsync but not compatible.)

A lot of people say the dxgi errors are also related to WIn11 or a specific update i think it was 24h2. Rerolling to 23h2 had fixed this issue for some people. This was too complicated for me so i tried to fix it in Win11 with 24h2.

I think Win11 might show us our weak points in the system right now with a lot of crashes. Or it is just broken.

What i am doing right now is i am trying out games in CachyOS linux right now. I took a spare 100gb SSD and just installed it. They have a support document on their page if you need help for the installation and the few tweaks after it.

But it is also good to go out of the box. Didn't even had to install any driver and my FPS in POE2 so far was about 10FPS less than windows.

I came back to this game because let us be honest poor optimisation and i wanted to compare Windows and CachyOS perfomance. Also try out 21:9.

PS: I just remembered the error dxgi device removed was it for me and i think it was heat related.

Thx all for the anser,

My game works again, but I do lots of things so I didn't know correct my problem.

For the other peoples who read this text to help us:
- I check the windows update (w11)
- I close the max programme I can
- I disabled differents overlay (steam, discord, nvidia, overwolf, ...)
