How early can I unlock Warfarer?

I got interested in the advanced classes by accidently unlocking Trickster soon after defeating a Drake in Bakbattahl. I just unlocked Mystic Spearhand but as much as I've travelled, I have not found mention of the Warfarer class or the magick archer.

I looked them up and it seems to be late game content? not sure with how the wiki article goes about it. As far as the story is concerned Brant is still waiting to talk to me at the pub. I've mostly just explored the world and fought bosses while mastering the classes and hoarding loot.

Playing naturally, you get it quite late. But there's nothing to stop you rushing there on day 1, assuming you can survive the trip.

If you've already reached Bakbattahl and unlocked trickster though, you're potentially quite close. Both classes are found on Volcanic island; while you need to advance the plot to take the godsbane door route there, there's a second route through a long cave. There's a couple of quests in Bakbattahl which take you there long before the main plot does. You can also unlocks dwarven smithing.

Head south basically and keep going.
