Plenty.
Two big cities, a hand full of smaller settlements.
Too many.
Difficult to say without some kind of comparison/measurement. There's a couple of cities with a couple of biggish one, Some settlements. A fair few people in the big city though they tend to `pop` in. You know how it is in these games, there are never as many people as would be in real life.
I dunno, smaller than Skyrim, bigger than Morrowind. Maybe.
there's alot of stuff all over the place! but a bit confusing, you gotta take your time with each questline and not branch off into other unrelated quests unless someone approaches you specifically to talk to you about something! i found that means they are related to the currest quest! if you don;t do this you're gonna have quests upon quests and then things start to not make sense, not because they don;t make sense, but because you can;t possibly wrap your head around them and keep track, and so you'll be left confused and frustrated!
