Ray traced shadow Smearing/Ghosting
I've been playing around with the ray tracing for a bit now and I've noticed a lot of ghosting or smearing with the shadows when moving.

This is the most prominent around character's feet when there are particle effect like dust from walking around in battahl. If you walk in circle in the market place you can see a ton of ghosting around your character.

Another thing I've noticed is when walking around corner or around object, you can see a faint outline of the object in the shadows on the ground before it disappears.

There is also the very visible smearing in the grass whenever it's in shadow. This one is mostly solved with the Quality Raytracing mod, but it can still be a bit visible.

I'm not using FSR or DLSS. I've tried multiple ImageQualityRate for 0 to 10. I tried with maxed out Shadow and low Shadow. The issue is only present when ray tracing is turned on so something must be messed up there.

1. AA = smear
2. You have exactly zero mods active because if you did there would only be smearing from AA and two your game wouldn't start because quality water broke after the second patch and was never fixed. "Installed" does not mean active.

As said above, most of the issue with capcom's games as whole are their implementation of AA. I don't know of a single game of their where it doesn't blur and smear out everything on screen quite aggressively. Fully disable AA and check out - yes, it'll look jagged, but then, it's a tradeoff.

I tried disabling the mods I had active and doing some more test.
Even with AA disable you can still see some ghosting especially around the legs, but it's not as visible.
Seems like the issue was being made worst by the Quality RayTracing as after disabling it it's not as visible with the trade off of the Ray tracing looking worst in general.
Like Shift said, no matter what, it's a trade off.

You were never running it to begin with, because the smearing would be gone completely if you're not upscaling. As I stated, if Water was enabled your game wouldn't even run, because it no longer works at all and crashes the game.

Managed to take a few pictures of what I mean.
I was trying to get Shadowplay to record it but it seam I have another issue with that.
let's ignore the water mod, I removed everything to do with it as it's not working.
The Quality Raytracing does make a difference.

You ever find a fix besides turning off raytracing?

What about these graphical fix modification along with reframework? Appearantly you can adjust it better there but I never quite managed to figure it out.
