Why is this game not going on sale?

It's been three months since release and the current player count is 1800 (how sad). At this point, nobody even talks about this game anymore.
The only reason I can see why it is not going on sale is because it was an epic flop and they can't afford to cut down the price because they didn't break even.

too bad. I want to give it a try, but I am not going to pay more than $25 for this. It looks unfinished, kinda in between beta and pre-release mode. too bad.

Do you have brain damage? The game made a profit the first week.

The two above me are right. Despite what the reviews and complaints may have you think, this game sold very well and netted Capcom a very good profit. To expect a game like this to go so low, you'll be waiting a few years before you ever get your hands on this.

Is kind of weird to think that a game gets a such a big reduce price after release. The game came out march. It is not an online game which needs many players that it playable. The game is not unfinish it’s finish. Sure, they could make many features better or deeper but, in the end, they tried their best with the time and small team to make a good game.

If it to pricey for you just play the first game. You can it get for 5 and if you listen to some people here it is the better game, and the money is there wiser spend.

Funny when so many other actual flops occurred recently (SSKTJL for one, that other game that got de-listed after like 2 days as another); as they actually received coverage as such.

I do however see DD2 stuff hit my feed still almost daily and it's basically most journo's praising it's rigid take, or other devs enjoying it, or how it is GOTY competitor.

Not sure about GOTY but it was fun yes. Most people enjoy things and don’t write a thesis on character height sliders, woke conspiracies or denuvo or whatever other ♥♥♥♥ is on here.

Capcom have an internal bussiness practice to reduce the actual price of the game after 1 year. So wait a bit more, it'll be a fraction of the original price, just like all their other games.

Agree. If you don't own the first game, play it. Graphics are not as good though. So, get one of the HD mods from Nexus.

You'll be waiting quite a few years for 25. Maybe -10% sometime soon-ish. Games that are singleplayer and make profit in a first week after release usually don't do "liquidation" sales couple months after release.

1. not paying $70 for an un-optimized mess
2. I'll wait for the performance patch and next sale event.

This game only just released in march. Sales need to wait till at least next year.
