[BUG] Shadowed Prayers

Second NPC doesn't spawn. Empress is still alive just sitting on her podium not doing anything. Tried resting at a bench, tried sleeping at the home, and sleeping at the inn. None of those work. I think it's busted totally. FYI to Crapcom you guys put zero effort into this didn't you?

Start the quest, go back to the temple in the morning, menella will give you a note that describes the assassin, grab the right guy, quest is over.

That is the part that isn't triggering. Menella is there, but she doesn't hand me any note or ask me to grab the assassin.

I know that you have to do the morning after you pick up the quest and not on the same day. I have done that quest twice with no issues.

Some people report quitting to the main menu will fix the issue.

I've tried waited a couple days already via inn rests and the main menu thing. Doesn't work. Menella just tells me the Empresses life is in my hands and nothing else happens.

By any chance have you checked the Morgue?

The idiot might have gotten himself killed somehow, ive had this happen before which stopped quests from progressing until i revived them.

The fix i read was rest until morning, save and quit, reload your save and the quest should progress. As i did not have the issue i cannot test it.

Ughhhh this was it damn it. Dude I spent so damn long trying other things I should have just went straight to the morgue. There was a second character that triggers the quest and they were one of 5 people dead.

Is the assailant description randomized? I couldn't find him within the time limit, none of the peeps were a match for mine.
Hair tied back, Right arm injury (assumed to be covered up, of course...Did not say what type of injury though, so if it wasn't covered, I still have no idea what to look for)

The description is always the same and he's always in the same spot.

An easy way to cheese/help is to pause in the main menu and use photo mode to investigate.

As for the injury it looks like: Some lines/scratches on the arm - not bandaged

If you talk to them the assassin is also the only one to respond in a rude manner.
