I've done it so many times I've been testing how different quests will react to different flags being triggered. Sadly the majority either just break or have the same exact outcome no matter what the player chooses.
i guess its a semi-good-ish ending.
like could we have adopted Daphne she deserved so much better than what she got, and the maid too the mother was a real piece of work.
How can you just kick your own kid out over inheritance couldn't you have just made her know she would not receive any of it?
no you put your kid out on the street that's super messed up, but they did say that the motehr was kinda off not unlike how people actually are irl. J:
Oh I like this outcome. I think once I get to my final world where I'm focused on collecting/leveling it'll be the way I leave them
I mean... I did Daphne's quests, then I did that quest where she acts as a stand-in for Sebastian so he can get a flower for his mother... and he got back, presumably with the flower, and the mother found out about the ruse. Well okay. And then we left.
But when I left, the pawns all started making comments about it ending on a dark note and that we shouldn't have got involved...
What dark note? Everyone is still alive. Sebastian got his flower, presumably, Daphne is presumably okay, though I don't really care if she isn't because she is a shameless mooch. I guess the maid probably got scolded or something. But so what? What is such a bad end about that?
It isn't like the "Beggar" who got murder-suicided by his wife for being a secret toff...
I'm assuming you haven't went back to the slums and talked with the maid. She explains why it's scuffed that Daphne's in the situation she's in to begin with, and worst off the priest scolds you for getting involved which made me look at him in a worse light too.
Judging by the other comments, is Daphne actually Sebastian's blood twin or something? Is she another secret toff? There seems to be a lot of that going around.
Saving lubomir was an extra obscure option after the quest successfully completes and you get xp, but no clue on that there some extra stuff you can do. /end rant.
