if not you probably need to complete her quest in volcanic island.
I also did the Elven quest where she helps us so she isnt missing cause of that either.
In the end game she does the same btw,its even more annoying as she is needed for dwarven upgrades, best upgrades in game
You can also check vermund house if you have it,there are NPCs from battahl who go there for escort quests,i know at least one, dont know Sara as i didnt do her escort quest
which is why you use Gautstafr.
I didnt want to spoil that,i dont know if op got to that NPC yet,i had a portcrystal to his location but i am in NG+ now and probably will do the same
Not all,Sara has a separate path that leads her around the city and if you are in the end game and follow her you will see she doesnt go near your house but on another path actually following her master dwarf
there are NPC from battahl that come to vermund for a follow up quest
It's really dumb.
But her bugged behaviour is still present even in the endgame, she walks away ALL the time and once she leaves the shop area she won't even trigger the enhancement dialogue when you talk to her, and apparently she tries to walk all the way back to Bakbattahl... which is insane. Only quitting the game and then quickly running to the place where the smithy is helped. Or you may try to carry her back to the shop area.
I would suggest you use the dwarf for the smithing. You can unlock him at any time and his quest is really easy.
Another Sara bug... she fell in love with me and started following me around EVERYWHERE... I had to fast travel away to stop this behaviour.
There is only one moment in the story where Sara is supposed to disappear, but that is before she becomes the dwarven smith option, when the tries to learn the technique. All other instances are certainly bugs. Again, just use the dwarf, much less of a hassle.
Great... well time to waste a portscrystal on that other Dwarf cause hes in the middle of freaking nowhere.
Guess shes done with her little trip, seriously why does a vendor and smith of all people capable of leaving their post at random?
