I've tried as well, but even with everything on absolute lowest possible, you get 17 fps on the title screen. In-game it's even worse. It's weird too because on said title screen it'd be using ~27% cpu and ~60% gpu, so something is very weird with this game in terms of resource usage.

But put shortly, it really isn't playable on the steam deck. I play a lot streaming it from my desktop via Moonlight though.

Thought so, thank you for the update. I hope it’s a bit optimised bit later

Maybe the requirements are so high just so it can't be played on the Steam Deck? Wouldn't that be competing with the PS5?

The requirements are so high because there's fundamental issues with their game and/or anticheat/antitamper solutions. Modders have uncovered that it never stops streaming assets, for example; it just perpetually streams and dumps and restreams even when you're standing in one spot.

More powerful hardware simply has more overhead to "brute force" through parts of it, but Capcom has some serious problems on their hands here.

Same as others; I tried it out on my Steam Deck and it was a slideshow. A shame really, since I loved playing DD:DA on my Steam Deck on occasion.
