If i failed one of the sphinx trails, is there still any way to pass that quest?

Do i need to correctly pass every single trial to do the quest? or if i failed one am i just screwed.

it was the first trial i failed where you have to look for the valuable item in the nearby cave

You can continue you just failed that riddle and don't get that reward. But this also blocks the achievement.

You get one fail allowed. Pro tip, you will be asked how many riddles you have solved, make sure you subtract the one you failed.
