(She's the Oracle of Vernworth)
Does the quest progres pass Til Death Do Us Part? Because otherwise I didn't find it THAT interesting. I find Every Rose Has Its Thorn to be more interesting.
Dude immediately pledged loyalty almost as soon as you meet him (he only pretends to treat you like an imposter to cover for you), and has been nothing but intentionally helpful (even if he doesn't actually do anything in the story).
What got me the most though is that, during the quest Every Rose Has Its Thorn, if you talk to him, even though he doesn't condone the assassination, if you ask for "whatever aid you can lend" after showing him the murder report, he still goes out of his way to help you escape after killing Allard. He IS disappointed in you for still doing it, and you most certainly did not NEED his help, but he still had your back nonetheless.
Though it doesn't really go much beyond, it does have different endings depending on your actions etc. What makes it interesting to me is the lore and speculation it invites towards Lady Margit's character and activities in regards to Ser Ludolph and Lennart. There is an entire thread discussing the lore of Lady Margit buried here somewhere.
I agree that Every Rose has it's Thorn is an interesting questline, but I find I dislike Wilhelmina as a character.
After completing the game I learned that an additional piece of evidence can be found in a home near the barbarie that apparently leads to a better ending in regards to Ser Brandt. I haven't confirmed this, but it is interesting.
As a character? Sven. I always liked characters who push to be (actual) better people than "fate makes them". Trying to not being his mother's coddled puppet counts. Too bad his NPC location is terrible.
Otherwise, its the slave overseer guy at the start. Of the "Love to hate" variety.
