Can someone help me with the copy of jadeite orb? Just want to remove this quest from the list

I already gave original orb to the first merchant and now i'm stuck with open quest on my list from the second (Not a great game design in my opinion)

Can someone summon my pawn and give her a copy of the item? I can gift in return a wakestone or something.

Can't you just go to the second guy and say you never found it? That's what I did.
