I don't understand why DD2 does not have male and female clothing models, I do not know of ANY other game that does this, i.e. if an armour can be worn be a man or woman the model will usually slightly change to make it gender specific. This is just lazy. So there should have been an alternative seeker token outfit for male characters, women get the corset, maybe males should get some skimpy leather biker outfit... would feel as much out of place as the corset...

nah ♥♥♥♥ that. usually makes one of the variants better than the other and then you can never use the ones you prefer.

those numbers are including other stats based on vocation... not a good list since they don't say what vocation they're looking at it with.

best mag def for sorceror/mage/trickster is 315, corset is only 280.

i'd argue you aren't getting hit with phyiscal attacks with those 3 classes soo i dont agree that the corset is the best in the game.

honestly, if you get 2 sets that are not starter/endgame lvl apart statwise, just use what looks better. not like you will notice the 20 more defence or something...

thats also the reason why i dont use capes on my fighter at all. they all clip with the shield and i dont want that.
i still play the game just fine, even without the additional stats/resistances a cloak provides...

what are you looking at?
if you look here:

you can see the actual base stats and nothing is near the corset for def/mag def. i can't confirm the numbers, i just flip the armors around in game and see corset as the highest values.



you keep referring to "best mag def for X vocation" but i'm talking about the actual armor pieces, unless you're minmaxing slash/strike/knockdown res/specific element/debilitate resist, corset is the highest armor / mag def
