How good is Recovery +++ food?
It's tough to tell if it's worth the trouble.

Does anyone have stats or info on camping and eating food that has recovery?

its worth it, considering its basically a free extra action at a campsite which you are gonna do many times over anyway.
if you have the meat then why not. that meat is only used to make fine mincemeat robaranth anyway. which you'll get tons of it.

It seems to work like the "Ring of Brawn" that buffs your strength based on your weight-cap, where it doesn't actually change your Status page values, but does help a little.

Stamina recovery for example is like a slight buff, but I can't find anything about hard values, so my assumption is thus - each "+" is a # obviously, but I think it is either "3" or "5" because they tend to do things in those numbers.

So food would go from "+" or a 3% buff, up to a "+++++" or 15% buff. 5 is possible as that is a common one for games (5/10/15/20/25% max) that wouldn't break the bank, but back to that "Ring of Brawn" - it caps at 20% buff on "Very Light" encumbrance, so I would suggest that is the highest % value across the board (with food caping out at 15% as anymore would end up making it seem better to camp literally all the time vs as needed).

TL:DR - it is (possibly) a 9% boost to those stats, so it's worth it if you got the meat.

Camp +++ is backend bonus, like MHW. it doesn't max your health, it makes the damage you take less; it doesn't max your stamina. it makes you have extra stamina left after performing an action.
