Both Magick Archer and Archer are pathetically underpowered

Honestly, both classes have so little stopping power and so low damage it's insane. Archer is basically unusable without its master skill, and magick archer looks like it does good damage but the aiming and slow buildup means your DPS is basically zero.

How tf did these make it to release.

Magick Archer is incredibly powerful? Haven't tried regular archer, but MA is insane with how fast it can take down enemies in packs and big bosses

Archer is dog trash, but Magick Archer is one of the strongest vocations, arguably only outclassed by Thief and roughly on par with Mystic Spearhand.

I've tried both with controller and mouse/keyboard, magick archer aiming just full-on cucks it for me. You end up targetting every last limb of big enemies and thus do no real damage.

That's only if you use the "AoE Mode" of Magick Archer.
If you use the "Single Target" mode you easily get weakspots hits.

Archer is good if you're able and willing to freely use explosive arrows as a routine consumable against boss/mini-boss monsters. People just don't know how to play. It's a skill issue.

Magic Archer is one of two vocations that can literally one shot everything but a Drake.

destroys everything in the game. magic archer alone is THE top DPS/DD in the game. but its ice that you have a wrong opinion, its yours though.
