It would be interesting if you could fake death like activate Fake Death Skill.
If the bearer of this ring of Assurance wears the ring it could mean multiple things :
- To Assure the bearer of the Ring of Assurance that the bearer no longer has to worry about his companions or followers that the Ring of Assurance will protect them as long as the bearer wears the Ring of Assurance or doesn't die.
- To Assure the bearer of the Ring of Assurance that the bearer no longer has to worry about losing his inventory that the Ring of Assurance will allow you to keep your stuff even if you die while wearing the ring.
-The Ring of Assurance has a limited amount of uses. Limited 10 Times
Seriously, my wild guess is it "Grants a chance that any attack which would reduce your Health to 0 leaves you with 1 Health instead." (just like DD:DA Tenacity secret augment).
Try looking up the word Assurance and then tell us after you read the definition of the word in the dictionary.
Well, i highly doubt about this, because the only item you could lose in DD1 were the item given to pawns that died and go back to the rift
Personally a hard mode should be like that to make the stakes high hhh. You could always make hard save checkpoints as insurance.
From what we've seen in footage... dieing doesn't drop anything, and auto-save and save feature would counter loss of stuff on death.
If they plan to force saving... why... half fun is experimenting knowing you wont lose stuff.
/shrugs
If were lucky... ring doesn't do anything special, and its worth 100k.. so we can buy abunch of items before we leave town. XD
In other words: don't expect it to be anything special.
