Any theories what ring of assurance does.
Seems to be the only thing in the deluxe version you won't be able to find in game.

Even then you may be able to.

I think you might be lying.

Guessing it probably lets you keep loot don't lose xp when you die I dunno. Something like that, that makes sense for beginner item. Deluxe looks like a waste of money either way.
Maybe it gives the risen a Protection Aura like for 30 seconds which means you can use the best weapons and try killing within 30 seconds.

It would be interesting if you could fake death like activate Fake Death Skill.

Ring of Assurance

If the bearer of this ring of Assurance wears the ring it could mean multiple things :

- To Assure the bearer of the Ring of Assurance that the bearer no longer has to worry about his companions or followers that the Ring of Assurance will protect them as long as the bearer wears the Ring of Assurance or doesn't die.

- To Assure the bearer of the Ring of Assurance that the bearer no longer has to worry about losing his inventory that the Ring of Assurance will allow you to keep your stuff even if you die while wearing the ring.

-The Ring of Assurance has a limited amount of uses. Limited 10 Times

Considering all the stuff is like newbie bonus equipment it's more than likely a ring that causes you not to lose items or xp on death if the game has such penalties. I also think those starter weapons are probably also unique but probably quickly replaced. The real unique thing is probably the music changer.

It encircles your finger.

Seriously, my wild guess is it "Grants a chance that any attack which would reduce your Health to 0 leaves you with 1 Health instead." (just like DD:DA Tenacity secret augment).
I'm still standing on my theory of the ring

Try looking up the word Assurance and then tell us after you read the definition of the word in the dictionary.

Well, i highly doubt about this, because the only item you could lose in DD1 were the item given to pawns that died and go back to the rift

I thought items you give pawns to carry go back to your storage if they die. That's what someone posted elsewhere anyway.

Personally a hard mode should be like that to make the stakes high hhh. You could always make hard save checkpoints as insurance.

I assume something with rezing pawns faster, or them staying in down state longer.

From what we've seen in footage... dieing doesn't drop anything, and auto-save and save feature would counter loss of stuff on death.
If they plan to force saving... why... half fun is experimenting knowing you wont lose stuff.

/shrugs

If were lucky... ring doesn't do anything special, and its worth 100k.. so we can buy abunch of items before we leave town. XD

I ASSURE you this anti-cheat will be quite operational when you wear this ring.

I have a feeling that it will be a free wakestone

Like all pre-order bonus items, it's not something that will break the game, you'll replace it quickly.

In other words: don't expect it to be anything special.

A free revive once a day would be cool. I doubt that will be it though, because it sounds a bit too strong.
