Simply answer: Nobody knows. Capcom doesn’t say/wrote anything about DD2 and how they see the future of this game; since the initial launch.

If I remember correctly the only statement which Capcom wrote that they see Dragons Dogma as *key brand* after the good sale numbers, but this was 2024 a little after release.

As long the game still has Denuvo I would say there is still hope that they will release additional content. The last patch was 9 April 2025. So the game is still not abandoned, even if the patch was only little.

Not yet. Problem this series is always going to have is that the people who made it are also part(or were) of the monster hunter titles. With wilds getting support, DD is going to get less. Personally, i'd rather they just finished the game instead of releasing a DLC to try to get more money from me.
