Really quite shocked no DLC as of yet.
Considering how good this game was and how thirsty people are for more I'm shocked they haven't made anymore dlc yet.

My guess is that capcom did not want to take any focus off the new monster hunter, but now that it is out, it would be a good time to hype this game back up.

Also MH is getting its first crossover soon, imagine if it was DD2, to perhaps get more people interested in this game.
Capcom has poor project management and sometimes rush out games, DMC4 had similar treatment to DD2 back in the day, lots of cut corners and characters, short story and etc. Maybe if they won't release a DLC they might release a special edition some day with additional content.
dont worry there is still time for Capcom to milk you all with a ''special edition'' or something

yeah they slaughtered this boy hard
The director left after game launch (Possibly under performed sales wise) so either any DLC plans were cancelled or got super delayed because they formed a whole new team.

It’s truly amazing how people repeat always the same lie about him. He already planned to leave Capcom. DD2 was only the last product beside DMC5 which he wanted to finish. Kento Kinoshita which worked on Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen AND Dragons Dogma 2 is still there.

Honestly, I don’t care if they release a special edition. I would probably purchase it or get it as gift because I had/have a lot of fun with Dragons Dogma 2.

i mean if you are really buy into official narrative sold to you lol.
"i want to leave the company" translate to "the company is pressuring me to leave. "

The big difference is that he already wanted to leave and only stayed because Capcom gave him the option to create a game which he wanted.

The good news is also that he already fand another place and works on a new project. I hope he and his new team get treated better than Capcom treated him.

The bad news about that is rather I don’t know which people will still fight for DD now that Itsuno left. He was the force behind. In time we will see how Capcom treats DD and if it get additional content or not. I guess many would rather get a remaster of DDDA than additional content for DD2, at least you get this feeling if you look in different communities.

Every time I look at DD2 in my library I feel nothing but pain.

sounds like capcom does not even want continue the series.

i hope he makes a spiritual successor to Dragon Dogma IP atleast.
look at my boy. What have they done to my boy??
I imagine Dragon Princess got canned when Itsuno left.
Given the games success it would make a sense to follow up with a DLC at least within a year but it wasn't even announced so i doubt it's even planned anymore.

You know this *leak* was always false? It’s the same as the World of Warcraft DLC leaks which was a long time on the internet. If somebody truly believe they only need 8 months to create a new DLC then… yeah, sorry but no. Not in this time and I doubt they already created a DLC when they still worked on the base game, not if you look how much rushed the Batthal part is.

I rather guess that they needed to release the game earlier as planned AGAIN. (I read this was also the case with the first game)

I'm also craving DLC. So much so that I'm trying to make my own mods. Thanks, Capcom.
