no it doesnt. not everyone owns a 4090 or 4080, but even on my 4070 on default graphics it has issues in towns, and my cpu isnt bad either.
so either you're coping, dont realize you have bad fps, or have a too expensive cpu/gpu.
Yeah, I have a 4090. But I can only speak to my own experience.
And coping with...what? Even if I had a 4070, what exactly am I "coping" with? What does that even mean?
Seriously if they made a proper effort this could be a classic.
I guess it was just a money spinner at capcom, no real love for the world.
at least the Character Creator is good, glad they at least got that done, but they probably got that good cos it would be one of the 1st things seen on release. It had to be good. The rest of the game, not so much.
Wont happen of course as people will just complain that 2 was the crunch-timed beta they said all-along hhh. Personally I'm not even mad if they did that, better than nothing plus all your pawn data transfers over like Dark Arisen so you don't have to start over.
Runs fine for me too, I have a 4080. I cap it on 60 fps, max graphic, no DLSS, resolution 2560x1440. Don't have any fps drops. I would never play this game for so long if I had the same problem as some other people. Of course I still hope that they fix it more, if they can. I want that other people have too a good experience with it.
The time frame that is equivalent to the launch of DD1 and announcement of DDA has passed. But any expansion with meaningful content, and with changes that could positively salvage some of the issues the vanilla game has, would take longer than that time frame.
I'm hopeful in the long term. Capcom needs to meet stockholder expectations and DD2 put the IP on the radar of a wider audience. As a bare minimum I expect an expansion to test the waters for any future DD related project.
