Eldricite needed please
Hi, im afraid to do the true ending and cannot find eldricite. I've tried lots. Can anyone gift my pawn one? Her Pawn ID on steam is L1BG05U4VZRF or 9C28UH1B01QC. Feel free to ask me for a reward, I do have several rare items. Thank you! (P.s. I'm also in need of bolt scale and Wailing crystal if you're fee,ing generous!) Add them as friends if you want to!

Nice Daenerys. You can usually get a stack easily off arrow quests but Ive sent one over.

edit - Ive sent you some boltscale and wailing crystal too. You can get more boltscale out of a cave up near the elven area before end game as well, and I think one of the roaming vendors sells wc if you can't find a lich. [/quote]

Hi, is there a chance we could chat about doing the true ending....I'm afraid, you see. It says it changes your pawn to your likeness but I don't want that, does she reappear as herself later and how? Can you chat me on messenger, look me up on fb I'm Teryl Mabee. Hope you can coach me a bit on this. I want the 3 extra permanent portcrystals it offers, you see, from doing the true ending. I'm in ng+ but not with inmoored world. Thanks!

I really wouldn't worry about the true ending. It doesn't change your pawn to look like you; that's DD1. In DD2 you and your pawn may, depending on your interpretation, die, or may not - It's unclear. Either way, you hit NG+ at the title screen, immediately reappear at the start of the game with all your skills and summon her as is shortly thereafter. You can change her if you want or just import previous settings. The only thing that's reset is her affiliation (the blushing). Ie exactly the same as you've already experienced going to NG+ after the fake ending.

The main thing to be aware of in the unmoored is that if you die you go back to your last inn save; that there is a limit on inn saves/rests (12); and that, until you defeat the big bosses (red beams), the red fog (brine) will slowly encroach the land swallowing it up. That said, what people do is simply go round clearing all the red beam enemies to start with so they can "fix" the world, using allheal elixirs to heal any grey damage and (in the unlikely event they die) using wakestones to rezz themselves.

Once you've cleared the big bosses /red beams you can stay as long as you want, just make sure you always have wakestones and inn rest every now and again just "in case", and don't activate the final red beam at the shrine because that's the end of the game. Most people stay a while to explore, farm, and do the (small number) of quests. The only real constraint you face is forging - as you can't rest at will, you can't progress days at will, so your ability to forge multiple items is gone.

Anyway - it's nothing to worry about and there's load of guides on line if you want more detail. The only thing Id say is that there arn't new portcrystals (other than the one the dragonforged sells); there's some permanent ones as you say but they disappear in NG+ anyway.

Edit - there's also a few unique items you might want to pick up there. There's lists on line, but if you explore the exposed river beds you should find them easily enough.

Thank you. I have played dd1 for over 10 years, in fact all 16 of my dd1 pawns are rated in the top 100. I spent forever building and perfecting them. They're under my names Teryl1 thru Teryl16 as arisen. I finally did Tru dnding Gere in dd2 and felt it was a waste of time really. I like the new startup screen now tho. I appreciate you reaching out as I had read things online like it changing your pawn, etc,, but it didn't happen. While I have you, can you help me? I'm trying so hard to find that very very rainy and stormy area in dd2, I came across it and for the life I me I cannot find it again. Do you know where it is? A map? Thank you so much. Add my pawns as friends, ok? I have 16 I dd1 and so far 4 in dd2. They're all Goin to be top notch by the time I'm done. Thanks! Teryl

NP. I someone posted you a map elsewhere but if you're still having trouble
- take the first right out of checkpoint and go down to the river
- follow the river west into the cave
- towards the end of the cave jump up on the rocks to the right and work your way up
- follow the path up the hill, over the log bridge and through a second cave

You can also access it from the far west of Battahl, working your way up a giant cliff face, through a river/cave system and then up a (very) long gully. Easier from chkpt tho.

Remember the "rainy area' will be dry in the Unmoored World, making it unrecognizable as the "rainy area". Similarly, the Misty Marshes are no longer misty. The most standing water you'll find in the UW is at the Volcanic Isle hot springs.
